GRADUATES
Rosemary Heitzer of Saxonburg graduated from Chatham College recently with a bachelor of arts degree in history.While at the college, she served with AmeriCorps for two years and received the Community Leadership Award from the college's Life of Leadership Conference, the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Pennsylvania Scholarship and the Scholarship for Women Overcoming Adversity.She has also served as a Girl Scout troop leader, a member of the Summit Elementary School parent teacher organization and a facilitator for the Rainbow for All God's Children program.Heitzer has also volunteered at the Paul Laurence Dunbar Community Center, Food Not Bombs and the Children's Hour program at her church.The daughter of Hubert Heitzer of East Butler and the late Betty Heitzer, she is a 1968 graduate of Butler High School and a 1998 graduate of Butler County Community College, receiving an associate of arts degree in general studies.Heitzer is the proprietor of Quilter's De-lights and De-lightful Gifts in Saxonburg.She has four daughters and two grandchildren.
