Butler’s Rob Voltz carded a one-over-par 73 (34-39) to place third at a West Penn Amateur Qualifier, held Tuesday at Youghiogheny Country Club.
The effort earned him a spot at the 54-hole West Penn Amateur championship event, scheduled June 26-27 at Sunnehanna Country Club in Johnstown.
Saxonburg’s Christian Evanchec shot a 77 (42-35) and is the first alternate.
