Vogel

Lester E. Vogel, 86, of Wexford, formerly of Pine Township, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Born on Jan. 15, 1936, in Warrendale, he was the son of the late Arthur and Dorothy Crea Vogel.

Lester was a life member of the Marshall Township VFD, where he held many offices. He also belonged to the International Harvester Collectors Club and the Perry-Ionic Masonic Lodge 796, Wexford, where he was past president.

He worked for Billco Glass Manufacturing for many years.

Surviving is a son, Wayne L. Vogel and his wife, Darlene; three grandchildren, Erica, Wayne and Vince; many nieces and nephews; and a brother, Alvin (Donna) Vogel.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Vogel; a brother, Elder Vogel (surviving June); and a sister, Florence Young.

VOGEL — Friends of Lester E. Vogel, who died Friday, March 18, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at MCDONALD-AEBERLI FUNERAL HOME, 238 Crowe Ave., Mars, with a service to follow at 7:30 p.m.

Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery, Gibsonia.
