Margaret G. Rosenbohm Hakenewerth

Margaret G. Rosenbohm Hakenewerth, 82, of Wentzville, Mo., passed away Wednesday.

She is survived by her two sons, Randy Hakenewerth, of Millwood, Mo., and Gary Hakenewerth, of Flint Hill, Mo.; three daughters, Sharon (Michael) Ryan, of O’Fallon, Mo., Janet (Paul) Barber, of Butler, and Gail (David) Dodge, of O’Fallon, Mo.; her brother, Fred Rosenbohm; two sisters, Anna Marie Kluesner and Mildred Pieper, of O’Fallon, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar A. Hakenewerth; her parents, Fred H. Rosenbohm and Gertrude Nagel Rosenbohm; and her son, Joseph Hakenewerth.

Margaret was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church in Flint Hill, Mo. She was also a member of St. Monica Sodality and the Quilting Committee. Margaret loved her church and the community she lived in.

Mostly, she was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Margaret was a friend to all who knew her. She was dearly loved and will be sadly missed.

Hakenewerth — Visitation for Margaret G. Rosenbohm Hakenewerth, who died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017, will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Pitman Funeral Home, 1545 Wentzville, Parkway, Wentzville, Mo.

A funeral will take place at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Theodore Catholic Church, Flint Hill, Mo. Interment will be at St. Theodore Catholic Church Cemetery, Flint Hill, Mo.
