Police Reports

The following items were gathered from various police departments:

12:28 p.m. Sept. 17 — Police responded to an accident on South Duffy and Evans City roads, where they found Matricia Miller, 58, of Butler had landed onto the bed of a pickup truck after she lost control of a motor scooter she was driving and fell into the truck. Miller's right arm was injured and both vehicles were still drivable.11:40 p.m. Sept. 17 — Stanford Lyons, 47, of Pittsburgh was charged with possession of marijuana and a red light violation after police were called to Route 8 for reports of a reckless driver. Police said they observed him run a red light at the intersection with Litman Road.8:20 p.m. Sept. 11 — Samantha Maseroni, 31, of Butler was charged with drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana. Police first received reports of a woman walking down the center lane of Route 8 near the intersection with Litman Road. They discovered she had an arrest warrant issued by Middlesex Township police and, as they were arresting Maseroni, they discovered the alleged drugs and paraphernalia.8:44 p.m. Aug. 23 — Two motorcycles crashed into each other on Route 68, sending one person to the hospital and one of the drivers, Robert M. Jenkins, 23, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence. According to police, Jenkins was going east on Route 68 when he made a left turn in front of the other motorcycle driver, Michael W. Senopole, 34, of Butler, who was heading west. Senopole hit the bumper of Jenkins' motorcycle, sending Senopole and his passenger flying off the motorcycle. Senopole was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital for injuries to both his legs. Additionally, Senopole was charged for driving with a suspended license.9:51 a.m. Aug. 18 — Ryan Sheleheda, 23, of Rochester, Pa., was charged with theft after police investigated missing state inspection and emission stickers from Monroe Muffler. Sheleheda was an employee with the company at the time of the theft.
