Susann Stover, 77, passed away Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013.

Dr. Thomas P. Stover, 79, passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013.

Both were longtime residents and active community members in Euless, Texas, where they passed away peacefully.

Sue Stover was born May 18, 1936, in Dayton, Ohio, to Dr. Maurice Bernard and Margaret Louise Menke.

Tom Stover was born Oct. 29, 1934, in Butler to Mr. Paul Byron and Ethel Dobbs Stover.

Tom and Sue were married on Jan. 3, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio, moved to Texas in 1962, and settled in Euless, Texas, in 1970. They were active members of the various communities where they lived, including participation in charitable organizations and holding various board positions within the community. Both worked at the Northeast Campus of Tarrant County College (TCJC), where Tom served as dean of students and later interim president.

Sue was “almost perfect.” She loved to read, work crossword puzzles, and was known for her beautiful painting of wood cut-outs, mostly of her favorite subject, Santa Claus.

Tom “always had a song” to match his kind smile, infectious sense of humor, curious nature and unabashed love for his family.

Survivors include their daughter, Margaret “Meg” Susann Magruder and her husband, Jay, of Frisco, Texas; their favorite son, Paul Byron Stover and his wife, Sandra, of Roanoke, Va.; their grandsons, Zane and Nolan Stover; Sue's sister, Margaret Kay Queen of Norman, Ill.; Tom's sisters, Evelyn Ehrman Casey (William) of Zelienople, Pat McCafferty and Mary Lee Marten (Robert) of Butler, and Susan Lehman of Jupiter, Fla., and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom loved and adored them dearly.

STOVER — The visitation for Dr. Thomas and Susann Stover was Sunday at the Lucas Funeral Home, Fort Worth, Texas.A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.The family will host a come-and-go celebration of their lives from 1 to 4 p.m. on their 55th anniversary, Friday at the Stover home in Euless.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tarrant County College, 1500 Houston St., Fort Worth, TX 76102, the GRACE Hospice of Fort Worth, 4100 International Plaza, Suite 140, Fort Worth, TX 76109 or the Gladney Center for Adoption of Fort Worth, 6300 John Ryan Drive, Fort Worth, TX 76132.
