Paul P. Porter, 92, of Natrona Heights passed away Friday at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.

Born Jan. 22, 1926, in Kaplan, La., he was the son of the late Ralph and Yvonne Gautreaux Porter.

Paul was a lifetime professional golfer with the PGA.

He was a member of St. John the 23rd Personal Parish in Pittsburgh.

He was an avid golfer, enjoyed wine making, woodworking and participating in his church.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by five children, Michelle Kailer of Florida, Paul (Donna) Porter Jr. of New York, Thomas (Janet) Porter of Florida, Lawrence (Penny) Porter of Ohio and Lori (Greg) Brown of New York; 14 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; his sister, Lorraine Farmer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine L. Porter, who passed away Sept. 16, 2018; two brothers and a sister.
