Edward M. Black

Edward M. Black, 70, of Butler, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021.

He was born on June 5, 1951, in Pittsburgh, and was the son of the late Perry and Mary Black.

He was employed as a commercial truck driver for over 30 years.

Edward enjoyed fishing, Steelers games and spending time with his grandchildren. He was known for his work ethic and caring personality.

Edward is survived by his two sons, Brian (Rhonda) Black and Scott Black; his brother, Mike (Joan) Black; and his sister, Florence (Bill) Sherman.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Ashley (Mitchell), Lacey, Courtney, Zachery (Olivia), and Savana (Austin); his eight great-grandchildren; and his former wife, Marsha Black.

He was preceded in death by his son, Eric Black; his brothers, Perry Lee, Paul and Alan; and his grandson, Anthony.

BLACK — Friends of Edward M. Black, who died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, will be received from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A prayer service will immediately follow in the funeral home.
