LOOKING BACK
Nuns from the three separate parish schools attend the dedication of the St. Paul Convent on Feb. 24, 1952. They then taught at the Butler Catholic School, which merged in 1969. The Sisters of St. Francis and the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus left Butler in 1990, and the Sisters of Mercy departed in 2001.
First St. Paul School was built in 1888 with the Sisters of Mercy teaching.
