Donna Fay Merritt

Donna Fay Merritt, 71, of Butler passed away Monday at her residence.

She was born Aug. 16, 1947, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Don J. and Adeline (Fehl) Shook.

Surviving are her daughters, Sheri (Ken) Boring of Hertford, N.C., and Penni (Dwaine) Garansi of Greenville; her son, Kevin Merritt of Butler; six grandchildren, Tawni Obenrader, Alyssa, Aaron and Baylen Garansi and Brittany and Evan Boring; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Karol (Ira) Houk of Butler; and her twin brother, Don R. (Kristi) Shook of York.
