The Butler Dog Training Association will hold a Doggie Fun Day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Alameda Park off New Castle Road. Activities will include agility rings, microchipping by a licensed veterinarian, breed and obedience competitions, and agility and Canine Good Citizen/Therapy Dog testing. Call 724-285-9910. Also on Sunday at Alameda, the Butler County Parks and Recreation department will offer a canine-only swim from 1 to 4:30 p.m. in Alameda Pool. Canine admission is $5. Lutherlyn in Prospect will host "Archaeology and History of the Venango Trail" from 9:30 a.m. to noon Sept. 26, featuring "digging" into Lutherlyn's past along the historic trail. Participants are to dress for the weather and digging. Registration is due by Sept. 21. Call 724-865-2161 for registration and admission information.

<B>Rodef Shalom Biblical Botanical Garden, </B>Shadyside, concludes the current exhibit "Lookin' Good Then and Now" on Tuesday. Hours are and noon to 1 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. Call 412-621-6566.
