Bonnie L. Riggle

Bonnie L. Riggle, 78, of Kittanning, formerly of Chicora, died Monday at VNA Inpatient Hospice in Butler.

She was born Aug. 12, 1939, in Fairview, Pa., to the late Clifford and Mildred Shakley Bly. She was a graduate of Karns City High School.

Bonnie retired from Nationwide Insurance on April 28, 1995, after 25 years.

She was of the Lutheran faith and was past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Bonnie liked doing ceramics, and traveling to Las Vegas. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, whom she married in Oil City, Willis Riggle of Kittanning; two daughters, Karla (David) Freeman and Ellen (Mike) Easton; two grandchildren, Nick Freeman and Lacey Freeman and her companion, John Ryan Hartman; two brothers, Dean (Dorothy) Bly and Clifford LaMoine (Barbara) Bly; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Marilyn McGinnis; and her brother-in-law, Robert McGinnis.

RIGGLE — A private visitation and service for Bonnie L. Riggle, who died Monday, July 16, 2018, will be held with the Rev. Carl Johnson officiating.
