It’s been ten years since I saw your sweet smiling face,

At time it seems like years ago, others just like days.

Do you hear me whisper your name in the dark of the night?

Or the prayers I pray for you, knowing that you are alright?

God never gives you more than you can handle, it’s been said

Then I don’t want to be strong, of what might lie ahead.

I shall always cherish you, Meg, until I’m called upon that day

For when we shall be all home again, but this time to finally stay.
