Home Show Time
You'll find ideas and advice on home improvement, decorating and landscaping projects — all in one place — at the fourth annual Butler County Home Show this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Family Sports Center, Route 68.
Three days of exhibits, seminars and demonstrations will educate and entertain everyone interested in shopping for information, advice and inspiration.
Show hours will be 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, all with free parking at the Family Sports Center.
Admission is free compliments of McDonald Plumbing and HVAC, and the Clearview Federal Credit Union.
The Butler County Home Show will showcase home products, decorating, construction and remodeling ideas.
Here's what's happening at the event:
• EXHIBITORS: Experts staffing 100 exhibit booths will share advice and information to encourage shoppers to compare, try and buy.
• EXPERT ADVICE: Saturday afternoon, home remodeling expert Andy Amrhein will present a question-and-answer session to address common home improvement projects and problems.
• RICH ENGLER'S ROCK & ROLL DISPLAY: On Sunday afternoon Pittsburgh rock legend Rich Engler will display his rare rock and roll memorabilia including guitars autographed by superstars Eric Clapton and Bob Marley.He will sign copies of his book, “Behind the Stage Door,” and share stories about the artifacts and his experience promoting more than 5,000 concerts in Pittsburgh.• CHAIN SAW CARVING DEMONSTRATION: Watch as chain saw sculptor Bill Schaudt creates one-of-a-kind works of art during his high-energy show. Handcrafted lawn decorations and signs will be available for sale.• ASK THE VET: Throughout the weekend, Dr. Ann Herschl Cirillo, Dr. Stacie Grohmann and Dr. Jaime Griffin of Seven Fields Veterinary Hospital will conduct “Ask the Vet” sessions.For show information and schedules, visit www.ButlerCountyHomeShow.com.
