Arthur E. Zinkhann

Arthur E. “Art” Zinkhann, 81, of Connoquenessing Township, passed away Friday while at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born May 1, 1938, in Mars, he was the son of the late Arthur E. Zinkhann and Gertrude Gilliland Zinkhann.

Art worked in the insurance business for 50 years. He owned and operated Zinkhann Financial of Butler.

He was a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Round Table and won numerous National Quality Awards.

Art was a member of the Christ Community United Methodist Church and Masonic Lodge 272 F&AM of Butler.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and boating. Above all, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 44 years, Sharon L. Hackbarth Zinkhann, whom he married July 19, 1975; his sons, Chad Zinkhann and his wife, Kristy, and Travis Zinkhann and his wife, McKenna, of Connoquenessing Township; his grandchildren, Bentley, Baylor, Banks and River; his brother, Gary Zinkhann, and his wife, Patricia, of Butler; and his sister, Roberta Rooney, and her husband, James, of Houston, Texas.

In addition to his parents, Art was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald Zinkhann.

ZINKHANN — Friends of Arthur E. “Art” Zinkhann, who died Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.

Additional viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral ceremony at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 North Duffy Road, Butler.
