[naviga:h3]BC3 offers online winter session[/naviga:h3]
BUTLER TWP — Next month Butler County Community College will kick off its first five-week winter session of classes that is completely online.
The online winter session will be from Dec. 18 to Jan. 22, and features courses in elementary statistics, general psychology, health science human growth and development, intermediate algebra, introduction to art, microcomputers, principles of management and principles of sociology. Students can earn up to six credits during the session, the college said Wednesday.
Those interested must submit applications online by 11:59 p.m. Dec. 13, or in person by 3 p.m. Dec. 15. Online registration for the session begins on Nov. 13 and closes at 11:59 p.m. Dec. 18.
[naviga:h3]Penn Holiday Ball is postponed[/naviga:h3]
The Penn Theater Performance Co. is postponing its Holiday Ball.
The group plans to resume the ball next year, according to the group’s news release Wednesday.
The company still plans to enter a float in the 2017 Spirit of Christmas Parade. Volunteers can assist with building the float at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Butler City Farmer’s Market.
