Carol A. Stiehler, 75, of Karns City, passed away on March 10, 2022, at her residence.

She was born June 14, 1946, in Petrolia, and was the daughter of the late Kenneth W. Rumbarger and the late Dorothy C. Seybert Rumbarger.

Carol worked as an investigative inquiry assistant for U.S. Investigative Service Inc., retiring in 2016, after 38 years.

She enjoyed crocheting, and monthly luncheons with her lifelong girlfriends. Carol especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandson. Her most cherished memory is making and decorating cookies at Christmas with her grandchildren.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Terri L. (Chris) Myers of Karns City; son, Bobby (Kristin) Stiehler of Karns City; five grandchildren, Erich (Kristen) Myers, Cole Myers, Chloe (fiancée Spenser) Myers, Madyson (Jared) Ickes and Michael Stiehler; her great-grandson, Kason Myers; two sisters, Kay (Jerry) Stonebraker of Fenelton and Marilyn "Sis" Rantilla of Sharpsville, Pa.; her brother, Rick L. Rumbarger of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Beverly June Rumbarger; and her brother, Ken Rumbarger.

STIEHLER — Friends of Carol A. Stiehler, who died Thursday, March 10, 2022, will be received from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2022, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler, where funeral services will immediately follow visitation at 4 p.m. with the Rev. Dr. Dennis L.Krajacic officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
