The Butler YMCA, 339 N. Washington St., will host its 70th annual Good Friday Breakfast at 8 a.m. April 15. Last held in 2019, the event was put on hold due to COVID-19 health concerns.

Tickets can be reserved in advance beginning March 14 or at the door for $6 per person or $3 for youths 12 and under.

This year’s speaker will be A.C. Phipps, a native Texan who has served in ministry in Texas, Michigan and Pennsylvania for the past 45 years. Phipps served as the minister of worship and music at the North Main Street Church of God in Butler from 1987-97. The Westminster Church Praise Team will perform live music, and a light breakfast and beverages will be served.
