A sport utility vehicle believed to have been used in a fatal shooting last week in Pittsburgh was recovered Wednesday in Butler, according to court documents.

The tan, 2003 GMC Envoy was found parked in front of a home on North Elm Street.

Pittsburgh police detectives subsequently obtained a search warrant for it and seized several items.

The significance of the items taken from the vehicle in regard to the homicide investigation was not immediately clear.

Alicia George, a spokeswoman with Pittsburgh’s Department Of Public Safety, did not return a telephone call or an email inquiry Thursday.

It was not known if there are any suspects in the death of 29-year-old Anthony Bullock-Fields of Brentwood, who was gunned down Sept. 17 in Pittsburgh’s Knoxville neighborhood.

No arrests have been made in his killing.

The plate showed the vehicle belongs to a 34-year-old woman, who lives in Butler, though she has not been publicly identified by police as a suspect.
