Clair Lee Greenway Jr.
Clair Lee Greenway Jr., 55, of Oil City, formerly of Slippery Rock, passed away at 4:21 a.m. Sunday at Magee Hospital in Pittsburgh.
He was born in Ellwood City on March 3, 1958, to Clair Lee Greenway Sr. and Sara Jane Eckert Greenway.
He was employed at Liberty Electronics of Franklin, Pa.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, and served as an airborne medic.
The was a Methodist.
Survivors include his two sons, Clair Lee Greenway III and his fiancee, Danielle, of Slippery Rock and Ryan Crews and his wife, Beth, of Ft. Myers, Fla.; his mother, Sara “Sally” and stepfather, Richard Foust, of Saxonburg; his four sisters, Susan Greenway of Sarver, Denise Bowser of West Sunbury, Lisa Meier of Harrisville and Rachel Giffin of Slippery Rock, and his two brothers, Douglas Greenway of Harrisville and Mark Greenway of Cabot and families.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clair Lee Greenway Sr.
GREENWAY — The family of Clair Lee Greenway Jr., who passed away Sunday, Jan. 19, 2014, will receive friends at the Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St. Slippery Rock from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday.The funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Loren McQueen, pastor of the West Liberty United Methodist Church, presiding.Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
