Arlene D. Cubbage

Arlene D. Cubbage, 86, of Butler passed away Wednesday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.

Born in Herman on Jan. 19, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Anna Reott Geibel.

She was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church.

She was formerly employed at Spaide Shirt Factory.

As an adoring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother, Arlene loved to give and receive hugs and kisses.

She is survived by six children, Debbie Shoup of Tyler, Texas, Alan Cubbage and his wife, Laurie, of Butler, Sue Brady and her husband, Bob, of Butler, Cathy Eckert and her husband, Mike, of Jacksonville, Texas, Tammi Wolfe and her husband, Gene, of Hedgesville, W.Va., and Tim Cubbage of Butler; and her daughter-in-law, Jean Cubbage of North Washington.

She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Cubbage, who passed away Aug. 12, 1998; a son, William J. Cubbage, who passed away April 29, 2015; two brothers; and six sisters.

CUBBAGE — There will be no visitation and funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family for Arlene D.
