Lloyd R. Lewis Jr.

Lloyd R. Lewis Jr. of Harrisville, formerly of Cranberry Township passed away Dec. 31, 2020, at AHN-Grove City, following a two-week illness. He was 90.

Lloyd was born Feb. 11, 1930, in Uniontown, to Lloyd R. Lewis Sr. and Bertha (Eckert) Lewis.

He married Jone Wright on June 12, 1953. She preceded him in death on April 22, 1995.

He retired as a senior rate engineer from U.S. Steel Corp. in 1991, following 43 years of service.

Lloyd was raised in the Protestant faith.

Survivors include five children, Lloyd R. Lewis III and wife, Peggy, of Amherst, Ohio, Kathy Quigley and husband, Denny, of Harrisville, Jack Lewis of Slippery Rock, Lynda Thayer and husband, Mike, of Zelienople, and Lori Hadden and husband, Tom, of Gibsonia; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

His parents and wife preceded him in death.

LEWIS — A private graveside service for Lloyd R. Lewis Jr., who died Thursday, Dec. 31, 2020, will be held in Pinewood Memorial Park, Cranberry Township.

Arrangements were handled by Cunningham Funeral Home, Grove City.
