June Brenneman

June Margaret Brenneman, 89, of Prospect passed away Friday after an illness.

She was born Aug. 17, 1926, in Lancaster Township and was the daughter of Ira C. Thomas and Lavada Daufen Thomas.

June was a homemaker and a Presbyterian. At one time she belonged to the Butler County Extension Club. She enjoyed crafts, cooking and canning.

Survivors include four sons, Thomas (Diane) Brenneman of Butler, Jerry (Marlene) Brenneman of Butler, Roger (Jennifer) Brenneman of Ellwood City and Michael (Rebecca) Brenneman of Centerville, Pa.; three daughters, Carol (Richard) Wahl of Zelienople, Alice (William) King of Englewood, Fla., and Mary (Jerry) Piroch of Butler; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Brenneman, who she married Nov. 11, 1950. He died Sept. 1, 2015. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

BRENNEMAN — Visitation for June Margaret Brenneman, who died Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Jay Bryan Funeral Home, 443 Main St., Prospect.Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dana Opp of the Presbyterian Church of Portersville officiating. Burial will be at the Mountville Cemetery in Portersville.
