Florence Wroblewski

Wroblewski

Florence L. Wroblewski, 93, of Cranberry Township, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, while under the care of AHN Hospice at Wexford Hospital.

Born May 4, 1928, in Peoria, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Louis Steele and Mary Craig Steele.

Florence was a faithful member of All Saints Anglican Church in Cranberry Township.

She worked for Seneca Valley School District as the head cook. She was also an accomplished seamstress, and during the COVID-19 pandemic, she sewed over 2,000 masks for the students and faculty of the Freedom Area School District.

Florence enjoyed crafting, playing cards, especially Skip-Bo and rummy, and baking. She and her late husband, Walt, were also avid campers and members of the Coachman Caravan Travel Club.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Terri (Jim) Seltzer of Cranberry Township, and Richard (Cindy) Wroblewski of Butler; her grandchildren, Mary (Jake) Taylor and Justin (Maria) Wroblewski, and her stepgrandchildren, Ashley (Evan) Bell and Adam Filges; her eight great-grandchildren; and her brother, Robert (Margie) Steele of Cranberry Township.

In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wroblewski Jr., who passed away in 2011; her son, Gary Wayne Wroblewski, who passed away in 1967; two sisters; and five brothers.

WROBLEWSKI — Friends of Florence L. Wroblewski, who died Wednesday, March 9, 2022, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Leonard Finn officiating.

She will be laid to rest at English Lutheran Church Cemetery.
