SRU lacrosse sets scoring mark
SLIPPERY ROCK — The Slippery Rock University girls lacrosse team enjoyed its highest scoring output in almost eight years Wednesday, crushing Ursuline, 24-2. The Rock netted 10 goals in the first quarter of the matchup, led 16-0 at halftime, and watched 14 different players notch a point.
Junior midfielder Charleigh Rondeau rounded out with 17 draw controls, the most in a single game in school history. Slippery Rock improved its record to 3-0 with the home victory.
