The Walk of Hope is scheduled for Saturday, May 6. The event begins with registration at 9 a.m. at the Westminster Presbyterian Church and finishes at the courthouse.

The Walk of Hope Drug Awareness Walk is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 6 from 10 a.m. to noon. Free registration begins at 9 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, located at 420 N. Main St. in Butler.

There is no cost to register.

The walk begins at Westminster Church and continues to the courthouse. Hot dogs and drinks will be provided. There will be a basket raffle. Donations are accepted.

The event is organized by the family support group “Hope for Broken Hearts,” an outreach of Mt. Chestnut Presbyterian Church.
