Delbert R. Steele
Delbert R. Steele, 82, of Butler, passed away Friday, April 9, 2021, at Sunnyview Nursing Center.
He was born May 21, 1938, in Slate Lick, Pa., the son of the late Milton and Anna (Grafton) Steele.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force having served during the Vietnam War. He volunteered at Sunnyview and was an avid fisherman and hunter.Surviving are his daughter, Darla (John) Duster of Butler; two sons, James (Tammy) Steele of Butler and Carl (Kim) Steele of Butler, nine grandchildren, Erika, Marc, Tanner, Dakota, Elayna, Colten, Dale, Eleigha and Tyler; one great-grandchild, Sophia; six foster grandchildren, nine foster great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sue (Bob) Stitt of Shelocta.He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith L. (Perry) Steele, who died April 6, 2019; five sisters; and three brothers.STEELE — Private service and burial for Delbert R.
