Four out of five young adults over age 18 say they lack financial management skills and money matters increase their stress levels, according to a study by Raddon Research Insights.

Armco Credit Union offers a free financial literacy program to local high school students. The web-based program Banzai is now available to any local high school teacher interested in teaching real life topics such as budgeting, using credit wisely and developing sensible spending and savings habits.

“Providing our local schools with resources that teach financial skills will help students make responsible financial decisions early in life that will continue to affect them throughout all stages of life,” said Randy Cypher, CEO of Armco Credit Union. “Sponsoring the program is our way of giving back and supporting our community.”
