Margaret McGinnis
Margaret A. McGinnis, 65, of Harrisville, formerly of Karns City, died at 10:20 a.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital after an illness.
Born in Karns City, Aug. 5, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Merle and Grace Kaylor Snow.
She attended the Karns City United Methodist Church and was a member of the Karns City High School Class of 1960.
She enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting and researching family genealogy.
She had been a clerk at the Chicora Post Office for 10 years until her health failed.
Surviving are a son, Kevin M. McGinnis of Troutman Road, Chicora; a granddaughter, Kennedy M. McGinnis of Karns City; her companion of 10 years, Malcolm Barron of Harrisville; two brothers, Edward Snow of Freedom and David Snow of North Washington; a sister, Twila Wagner of Karns City, and several nieces and nephews.
<B>MCGINNIS</B> — Friends of Margaret A. McGinnis, who died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the <B>Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home</B>, 102 Argyle St., Petrolia. Funeral services will follow at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. William Hastings, pastor of the Harrisville United Methodist Church, officiating.
