Janet Eileen Croll, 86, of Slippery Rock, passed away at her residence on Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021.

She was born May 27, 1935, in Boyers, to Wallace Lee Nulph and Florence Belle Taylor Nulph.

She married Elmer E. Croll and he preceded her in death.

Janet was a 1952 graduate of Wesley High School.

She retired from Slippery Rock University, where she worked in telecommunications and networking.

For many years, she was an active member of Center Presbyterian Church in Slippery Rock.

Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Suzanne Croll of Gonzales, La.; her son, Eric E. Croll of Evans City; three sisters, Phyllis Shiels of Philadelphia, Sarah “Sally” Snyder of West Middlesex, Pa., and Linda Nulph of Grove City; a brother, Bruce (Larue) Nulph of Hermitage; and three grandchildren, Danner, Nathan and Leeah.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Walter Weaver; her husband; and four brothers, James, Robert, Larry and Dennis.

CROLL — The family of Janet Eileen Croll, who died Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021, will receive friends from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Monday at Smith Funeral Home, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. The Rev. William Mumaw of the Center Presbyterian Church will be presiding.

Interment will follow in West Liberty Cemetery.
