Samantha Roth

Samantha Roth of Butler, received the first Junior Women of Achievement Award.

The award recognizes remarkable young women between the ages of 8 and 21 years for their achievements in academics, service and leadership.

Roth is a freshman at Point Park University in Pittsburgh.

The Junior Women of Achievement Award was inspired by Emma LeFebvre, an 11-year-old artist and philanthropist from Mount Lebanon.

After learning about Cribs for Kids mission of helping every baby sleep safer by providing safe sleep education and environments to new mothers, Emma hosted an art show to raise awareness and funds to help families in need.

Emily reached her goal of raising $2,000 and purchased 40 safe sleep cribettes for infants across the United States.
