Robert “Rob” W. Fredley
Robert “Rob” W. Fredley, 53, of Butler died Friday at his home.
Born March 13, 1964, in Butler, he was a son of Janet Cooper McGee and the late David W. Fredley.
Rob graduated from Butler High School in 1982, where he was a pitcher on the varsity baseball team. He worked for Butler Memorial Hospital for 36 years.
Rob was a member of the Zelienople-Harmony Sportsmen’s Club and the Butler Moose Lodge. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, was an avid golfer and always loved to help people.
Surviving are his wife, Yvonne D. Marmie Fredley; one son, Jordan (Bree) Comunale of Tennessee; his mother and stepfather, Jan and Ed McGee of Zelienople; his stepmother, Marlys Fredley of the Villages in Florida; his sister, Nancy (Bill) Kuhn of Karns City; his twin brother, Richard “Rick” (Donna) Fredley of Meridian; his stepbrothers, David (Joanne) Huff of Saxonburg, William (Heather) McGee of Ohio, Greg (Karen) McGee of New York and Jay (Susie) Gillespie; his stepsister, Rhonda (Tim) Casey; half sister, Sharon Fredley of Butler; his uncles, Chuck Huff and Ralph (Sally) Cooper of Butler; his aunts, Leah Miller of Butler, Jeanne (Don) Gamble of Alabama and Judy Bodnar of Pittsburgh; his niece, Lee Ann Woods of Colorado; his great-nephew, Jace Lineman of Colorado; his mother-in-law, Mary Lou Twentier of Butler; his sister-in-law, Karen (Curt) Reeder of Slippery Rock; his brother-in-law, Gene (Debby) Allen of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, David W. Fredley; his grandparents; and his cousin, John Gamble.
FREDLEY — Family and friends of Robert “Rob” W. Fredley, who died Friday, May 5, 2017, will gather from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. Private funeral services will be conducted for his family.
