[naviga:h3]Fukon gets 1st-team All-AMCC honors[/naviga:h3]

ERIE — Penn State Behrend junior basketball player Kenny Fukon — a North Catholic graduate and Cranberry Township resident — has been named first team All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.

Fukon averaged 16.6 points per game, leading the team and ranking fifth in the AMCC. He averaged 6.5 rebounds per game, had 80 assists and 36 steals.

ERIE — Moniteau graduate Kennedy DeMatteis, a junior pitcher for the Gannon University softball team, has been named PSAC West Pitcher of the Week.

DeMatteis scattered five hits and struck out seven in a 7-1 win over Tiffin.
