Schmidt

Carl F. Schmidt Jr., 73, of Fenelton, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2022.

He was born in Pittsburgh on Jan. 6, 1949, and was raised by the late William and Maggie Anderson.

Carl was a good dad and proud grandfather. He was also known for his excellent work ethic and being a jokester.

He was loved and will be forever missed.

Carl was the beloved husband of Mary Schmidt, since their marriage in 1987; the father of Carl Schmidt III, Jimmy Schmidt and Bethany Norris; the brother of Rose Johnson and Fran Devlin; and the grandfather of Zaidyn and Zander.

He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Carl was preceded in death by his father, Carl Schmidt Sr.; his sisters, Carol Sorg and Margaret Chelkowski; and a brother, Richard Schmidt.

SCHMIDT ― All services for Carl F. Schmidt Jr., who died Saturday, March 5, 2022, will be held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
