V. Lenore Krumpe, 90, of Saxonburg passed away Friday at the Saxony Health Center.

She was born March 30, 1926, in Armstrong County, and she moved in 1939 to Butler County.

She was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church, Brick Church. She graduated in 1944 from Winfield High School and in 1946 from Duff's Business School.

She was a former employee of Du-Co Ceramics and the South Butler School District.

She is survived by one daughter, Judy Krumpe of Saxonburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. “Bob” Krumpe, who died June 3, 1997; her parents, Todd and Goldie Gibson Smeltzer; and her brother, Leroy.
