Catherine Mary Booher

Catherine Mary Booher, 67, of Sarver passed away Tuesday at Good Samaritan Hospice after a long battle with breast cancer.

Born Jan. 4, 1950, in Natrona Heights, she was the daughter of the late Carl Lewis and Faletta Clark Lewis.

Cathy retired after 27 years from Du Co Ceramics in Saxonburg. She enjoyed mowing grass, gardening, yard sales and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her husband, John Booher, whom she married April 1, 1966; her children, Jeff (Carrie) Booher of Sarver, Joyce (Robert) Porter of Centerville, Ind., Joanne (Dennis) Armstrong of Liberty Center, Ohio, and Jessica (Robert) Eury of Butler; her grandchildren, Amanda (Justin) Ross, Joshua Booher, Nickolas Porter, Katelynn Porter, Megan Porter and Steffany Armstrong; her great-granddaughters, Emma and Brooklyn Ross and Kendall Porter; her sisters, Danna (Richard) Vernon of Butler, Carol Morgain of Butler and Rebecca (Mike) Woods of Sarver; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Greysen Booher.

BOOHER — Friends of Catherine Mary Booher, who died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Fox Funeral Home, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert H. Wilson officiating.
