Luanne Gills

Luanne Cozad Gills, 59, of Morriston, Fla., passed away peacefully surrounded by family at 4:45 a.m. Oct. 14 at her home, following a short battle with cancer.

Luanne was born July 21, 1956, in Grove City, the daughter of Robert H. and Betty M. Carnahan Cozad.

She graduated from Slippery Rock High School in 1974.

Luanne worked in the trucking industry for more than 25 years. She attended New Castle School of Trades for diesel mechanics, which she graduated top of her class.

A loving daughter, mother, grandmother and sister, Luanne was happiest when spending time with her family.

Luanne is survived by two sons, Lane “Buddy” Flynn of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Mark Aloisio and his wife, Rachel, of Grove City; three granddaughters, Rebecca, Marissa and Tara; two brothers, Mark Cozad of Clintonville and Steve Cozad of Harrisville; and three sisters, Karen Busi of Slippery Rock, Sue Buchanan of Mercer and Yvette Frampton of Harrisville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

GILLS — A memorial service for Luanne Cozad Gills, who died on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 5 at West Liberty United Methodist Church, 135 Church Road, Slippery Rock, Pa.
