CRANBERRY TWP — Freedom Road will be closed for eight hours from Feb. 12 to 13.

According to PennDOT, Freedom Road will be closed from 10 p.m. Feb. 12 through 6 a.m. Feb. 13 between Route 19 on the east and Executive Drive on the west to allow work crews to install a drainage cross pipe.

Motorists can detour around the closure in a multitude of ways. Drivers heading north on Route 19 can turn left on Cranberry Square Drive and left on Executive Drive. Those driving west on Route 228 are advised to follow Route 19 north to Cranberry Square Drive and turn left onto Executive.

Travelers going south on Route 19 can turn right on Thorn Hill Road, right onto Commonwealth Drive and back to Freedom Road. Those driving east on Freedom Road should turn right to Commonwealth Drive, left on Thorn Hill Road and turn in either direction onto Route 19.
