Walter Profota
Walter “Walt” Profota, 73, of Plum, joined his Lord and Savior after valiantly battling cancer. He died at Forbes Hospital, with his loving daughter by his side on Wednesday, June 2, 2021.
Walt was born on March 5, 1948, in Butler, and was the son of the late Walter and Stella (Mekle) Profota.
After Walt retired from the Autoclave Lab of Westinghouse Research and Technology Center, he spent his retirement years taking motorcycle trips with his wife, Linda, and walking his dog, Chance.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda (Barnett) Profota; two daughters, JoAnn Walsh and Raelynn Bermann (Ted); three grandchildren, Jesse Profota, Isabela and Johanna Bermann; and his brother, Robert and family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests you make a celebration of life donation to the Rolling Hills Baptist Church. If flowers are a must, please send peace lilies, one of Walt’s favorite flowers.
