Lewis Daniel Reith

Lewis Daniel Reith, 56, of Evans City, passed away on Monday, Sept. 13, 2021, under the care of Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born April 3, 1965 in Fort Wayne, Ind., he was the son of Kathleen Mary Stamm Hattendorf and the late Dennis Francis Reith.

Having moved to Evans City in 2014, Lewis became a welcomed member of the community. He enjoyed playing chess, fishing and loved spending time at Lake Gage in Indiana.

He was a skilled and passionate cook. Lewis will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his kind heart and the smile he had for everyone. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

In addition to his mother, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his son, Zachary Reith of Fort Wayne, Ind.; his three sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Lewis was preceded in death by his infant sister, Deborah Marie Reith.

REITH — A committal service for Lewis Daniel Reith, who died Monday, Sept. 13, 2021, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Evans City Cemetery with Pastor Reid Moon officiating.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
