BUTLER TWP — Sing Hosanna! will present the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical “Whistle Down the Wind” at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10 and 11 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 12 at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College.

All seats are $15 and are not reserved. Tickets will be available starting Monday at May’s Music Shoppe.

BUTLER TWP — Greater Harmony Chorus of Sweet Adelines International will present “A Kiss in Time” for its annual show at 4 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College.

“A Kiss in Time” will take the audience on a musical journey across the decades.

Tickets for adults are $15 in advance and $18 at the door. Students younger than 18 and children pay $5.

[naviga:h3]Drake Well site of storytelling[/naviga:h3]

TITUSVILLE — Drake Well Museum off Route 8 will be the site of a Something More Saturdays program on Oct. 28.

October’s Something More Saturday will feature storytelling and blacksmithing.

At 1 p.m., visitors can hear tales of the oil region from Bill Stumpf.

The Oil Valley Blacksmith Association will give demonstrations in the museum’s blacksmith shop from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Scheduled on the last Saturday of every month, Something More Saturdays programs are included in the museum’s regular admission fees, which are $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens age 65 and older, $5 for children ages 3 to 11, and free for children age 2 and younger.

Museum hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.

EVANS CITY — The Living Dead Weekend will be Friday through Sunday featuring movie screenings, celebrity appearances and film location tours, among other activities.

PENN TWP — “Creatures of the Night” will be presented at 6:30, 7 and 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Succop Nature Park, even in the rain.

See costumed nocturnal creatures telling stories from a Great Horned Owl, observe the acrobatics of the Flying Squirrel and go batty with Little Brown Bat, among other creatures.

Crafts and refreshments will be provided. Visitors are encouraged to attend in costume.

Registration is required, and cost is $10. Children 2 and younger will be admitted free.

JACKSON TWP — The Citizens Bank Children’s Theater Series hosts Australian acrobatic troupe Trash Test Dummies at six regional locations, including Seneca Valley High School.

The troupe — Jamie Bretman, Jack Coleman and Simon Wright — are highly skilled circus performers who will showcase a stunning array of the jaw dropping acrobatics, juggling, and stunt work for audiences of all ages.

The show at Seneca Valley will be at 2 p.m. Nov. 19.

Tickets are $12 at the door or $10.50 in advance. Children younger than 2 are admitted free but require a lap pass.

WASHINGTON, Pa. — Butler County exhibitors will be part of the 23rd annual Pennsylvania Arts & Crafts Christmas Festival from Friday through Sunday and Oct. 28 and 29 at the Washington Fairgrounds.

Artists and crafters include Carol Fleming and Lisa Tracy, both of Butler, Raymond McConnell of Karns City, Scott Thompson of Petrolia, and Manuela Branem of Sarver.
