COUNTY

The Lab performancegroup brings Conor McPherson’s ghost story, “The Weir,” in reader’s theatre format to the Butler Little Theatre, One Howard St., at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 21. In a bar in rural Ireland, local men swap spooky stories in an attempt to impress a young woman from Dublin who recently moved into a nearby “haunted” house. Reader’s theatre is a style in which the actors use only vocal expression rather than visual storytelling with sets or costumes. Tickets will be available at the door for $5. The play contains adult language.

Comtra Theatre, Route 19 in Cranberry Township, presents “The Addams Family — A New Musical” at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $15. Visit comtratheatre.org or call 724-591-8727.
