In loving memory of our beloved Ronald “Butchie” Wallace

who passed away two years ago today.

The way he talked, the smile he wore,

And all the thousands things so dear

We loved about him while he lived

Haven’t gone with him from here;

They’re planted deep in memory’s garden

And watered daily with our tears,

To keep them ever fresh and vivid

Through all the coming years.

Do not ask if I miss him

There is such a vacant place,

Often I think I hear his footsteps

And see his smiling face.

Days of sadness still come over me,

Tears of silence often flow,

Memory keeps him near to me,

Though he left two years ago.

We love you Butchie,
