Roberta Garrett

Roberta H. Garrett, 75, of Butler, passed away on Aug. 19, 2021, at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born on April 13, 1946, in Pittsburgh, and was adopted by the late William F. Streit and the late Helen G. Blum Streit.

Roberta was a member of Alcoholics Anonymous. She was an avid Steelers fan, and enjoyed listening to the oldies, country music and contemporary Christian music.

Roberta is survived by her son, Jason (Lori) Sexton of West Sunbury; one daughter, Lisa (Tom) Dickerson of O'Fallon, Mo.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two adoptive sisters, Linda L. Martin of Renfrew, and Emilie Dixon; and numerous friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Sexton, who passed away in 1993; her second husband, Robert L. Garrett Jr., who passed away in 2008; one daughter, Veronica Lynne; and one great- granddaughter, Alyssa Hellensmith.

GARRETT — Friends of Roberta H. Garrett, who died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2021, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.

Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Scott Carney officiating.

Burial will take place in the Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
