Kenneth Scott Russi

Kenneth Scott Russi, 60, of Jackson Township passed away Sunday at the Good Samaritan Hospice Unit at Concordia in Cabot.

Born March 2, 1956, in Mount Lebanon, he was the son of the late Edward Fetzko and is survived by his mother, Margaret Ann Best Schrecengost, and her husband, Carl.

Ken was a car enthusiast and especially adored Mustangs. He was a former wrestling coach for Seneca Valley Elementary School and was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh sports teams. He also enjoyed fishing. Above all, he was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be remembered as a caring and giving man who always put others before himself.

In addition to his mother, Ken is survived by his wife, Cathy Louise Burns Russi; his children, Melissa Russi and her companion, Jonathon Mitchell, of Harmony, and Michael Russi and his companion, Erin Blontz, of Harmony; Timmy Goerl, who he raised like a son; his grandchildren, Dakota, Sahvanah and Austin Mitchell; and his brothers, Doug, Jeff and Bill Russi.

RUSSI — A funeral service for Kenneth Scott Russi, who died Sunday, Dec. 4, 2016, will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday with visitation to follow the service until 8 p.m. at the Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople, with the Rev. William Steel of St. John's Lutheran Church of Lovi officiating.The family suggests that memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256, or the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with Ken's family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
