EVANS CITY — State troopers arrested a borough man Wednesday for allegedly attacking a woman and hitting her on the head.

Troopers arrived on the scene around 10:30 p.m. and made contact with Nathaniel Allen Paul, 21, of Evans City. He said he and the victim were arguing and that there was some “pushing and shoving involved,” documents state.

Troopers interviewed the victim, who said Paul had struck her on the head, causing a contusion to form on her forehead.

Paul then admitted to striking the woman and was placed under arrest, documents state. He is charged with assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.

He is in the Butler County Prison on a $5,000 bond.
