Evelyn H. Singer

Evelyn H. Singer, 88, of Butler, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, while under the care of Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 9, 1933, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Pagel and Nellie Bray Pagel.

Evelyn was a hairdresser for over 40 years.

She was a good cook. She enjoyed roller skating with her husband. She will be remembered for her love of dancing, attending the North Washington Rodeo, and her love of flea markets.

She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Evelyn leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband, Larry Singer, whom she married on July 24, 2010; her daughter, Evelyn (John) Hays of Shaler Township; her grandchildren, Carey and Johnny; her stepson, Larry Singer of Penn Hills, and his children, Anthony and Kayla; her great-grandchildren, William and Theodore “Teddy;” and her great-great-grandchildren, Aya, Ava and Ala.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her infant brother.

SINGER — Friends of Evelyn H. Singer, who died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2021, will be received from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at 4 p.m. Saturday at Boylan Funeral Home & Cremation Center of Connoquenessing Township, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
