BUTLER TWP — A Philadelphia man was allegedly found with more than 100 bags of heroin Sunday during a traffic stop in Butler Township.

Kishon Yeagins, 21, of Philadelphia, was charged with felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, one count of possession of drug paraphernalia and summary improper sunscreening after the incident in the 100 block of Pittsburgh Road.

State police said a vehicle was pulled over shortly before 3 a.m. for improper sunscreening on the windows.

Police said Yeagins was identified as the driver, and was driving a vehicle he said was provided to him by his uncle, who he refused to name, according to the criminal complaint.

In the vehicle was a passenger who also reported that he did not know who the owner of the vehicle was, the document states. Police did not indicate if that person was arrested or charged in the complaint.

Both were taken out of the vehicle and the vehicle was towed and impounded until the owner could be located, police said.

Per department policy, the vehicle was searched, and inside the trunk a backpack was found, and inside the backpack was a plastic bag containing rice. Inside the rice, police found multiple bundles of suspected stamp bags of heroin, 127 stamp bags in all marked “Kiss Me.” Also inside the backpack was found a bag of suspected crack cocaine, the document states.

The document states that Kirk was arrested and found to be in possession of multiple cell phones, which police said indicated narcotics distribution. However, online court documents could not be located for Kirk as of press time.

A message for the arresting officer was not returned.

Yeagins is currently being held in Butler County Prison on $50,000 bail, according to jail personnel.
