Cappellano

Jane H. (Breda) Cappellano, 77, formerly of Butler, passed peacefully at the home of her daughter on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022.

She was born April 14, 1944, in West Mifflin to the late Edmund and Doris (Zivich) Breda.

Jane grew up in West Mifflin, graduating from West Mifflin High School in 1964. She then went on to earn her bachelor of arts degree from Slippery Rock University and, over time, continued her education, earning her master’s degree, as well, from Slippery Rock. Jane worked for the Butler County Public Welfare Department for over 20 years as a caseworker. She was of Catholic faith. Jane enjoyed tennis, though especially enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Survivors include her daughters, Holly A. (Eric) Castello of West Deer and Stacy (Mark) Mainwaring of Big Beaver Township; grandchildren, Dylan and Kallan; and her brother, Joseph (Sharon) Breda of California.

CAPPELLANO — At her request all viewing and services were private for Jane H. (Breda) Cappellano who died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022.

Arrangements were entrusted to the SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton.
