Butler’s Schnur aids

volleyball win

LATROBE — Butler graduate Cody Schnur tallied 12 kills in helping the Penn State Behrend men’s volleyball team defeat Saint Vincent, 3-2, Saturday.

Behrend is 10-4 on the season, 4-0 in conference play.

Cranberry’s Clary

shines for GCC

DAVENPORT, Fla. — Cranberry Township resident and Eden Christian graduate Jesse Clary had two hits in both games as Grove City College opened its baseball season with wins of 5-0 over Northern Vermont and 9-5 over Bates (Maine).

Clary had two singles, two runs and an RBI in the first game. He had two hits, an RBI and three runs scored in the second contest.

Butler grad Malis

rolls 266 game

BUFFALO, N.Y. — Butler graduate Reegan Malis rolled a 266 game — second highest score in the tournament — for Penn State Behrend’s women’s bowling team during the Medaille Invite.

Behrend went 1-4 during the first day of the tournament.
